Divyaang Myithri Sports Academy (DMSA) is a non-profit organization established in 2016 by Shiva Prasad, a former vice-captain of India’s Wheelchair Cricket Team. The academy empowers individuals with disabilities through sports, offering specialized training, and accessible facilities. DMSA is unique because its team comprises differently-abled individuals who have excelled in various fields. The academy has pioneered initiatives like Karnataka's first Wheelchair Cricket Tournament and it has supported over 20 athletes with electric wheelchairs to enhance mobility and self-employment. They also organize national tournaments and provide continuous support to para-athletes. The academy's mission is to make sports accessible to all.

She Kicks Football Academy

She Kicks Football Academy is India’s first women-centric football program, founded in 2018 by Aditi Chauhan, a goalkeeper for the Indian national team. It offers free training to underprivileged girls in Delhi. The academy aims to create a safe and supportive environment for young girls passionate about football, providing them with regular competitive match opportunities and a clear development pathway. She Kicks trains over 50 underprivileged girls, offering free training, travel allowances, and equipment. The academy’s teams actively participate in various leagues and tournaments in Delhi NCR. They aim to produce top-quality players for the national team.

One Thousand Hockey Legs

One Thousand Hockey Legs (OTHL) is a non-profit organization founded in 2008 by K. Arumugam, a former hydrologist and hockey historian, with the mission to promote field hockey among underprivileged children in India. Operating in New Delhi, Chennai, Kanpur, Kolkata, and Puducherry, OTHL aims to introduce hockey to children aged 11-15, ensuring they engage in both sports and academics. The organization provides free equipment, coaching, and life skills education to around 3,500 children across 54 schools. OTHL has created several hockey competitions and offers scholarships to talented players who excel in both sports and studies. Notable achievements include winning the Annual Sports Promotion Award in 2016 and the Hockey India President’s Outstanding Achievement Award in 2015. The organization’s future goals include initiating 500 new schoolchildren into hockey each year, conducting annual city tournaments, and mentoring exceptional talent for the national team.

Outplay Sports Foundation is dedicated to empowering economically disadvantaged youth in Mumbai by providing them with access to quality training in combat sports such as boxing, MMA, wrestling, and Muay Thai. Focused on children aged 12 to 20, the foundation aims to cultivate a champion's mindset, steering them away from anti-social elements and promoting physical fitness, mental well-being, and community engagement. Key initiatives include the Outplay Sports Training Centre in Kandivali West, which emphasizes excellence in coaching and athlete-centric approaches, and the Outplay Sports Talent Hunt Program, designed to identify and nurture potential athletes from underprivileged backgrounds. The foundation is committed to training 5,000 athletes by 2028, focusing on grassroots development and inclusivity.

CABD

The Cricket Association for the Blind in Delhi (CABD) was established in 2018 with the mission to promote and develop blind cricket in Delhi. Affiliated with the Cricket Association for the Blind in India (CABI), CABD focuses on empowering visually impaired individuals by enhancing their confidence and honing their cricketing skills. The organization is dedicated to identifying and nurturing talent and preparing players to represent Delhi and India on national and international stages. CABD has successfully hosted competitive games, talent hunts, and specialized coaching camps, including initiatives for visually impaired girls, supported by the Australian High Commission. Notable achievements include producing six players for the Indian national team and organizing the first international blind cricket match under floodlights. CABD remains committed to fostering inclusivity, providing technical training, and creating opportunities for visually impaired cricketers in Delhi.
Y-Ultimate

Y-Ultimate

Y-Ultimate, founded in 2015 by Benoy Stephen, uses Ultimate Frisbee to teach life skills to underprivileged children. Starting with 15 kids in Delhi, they have impacted over 3,300 young people. Y-Ultimate's programs focus on combating drug abuse, juvenile crime, and unemployment by offering education in design and fine arts fields. Their frisbee club, GK MAD, has succeeded nationally, finishing second in India and winning the Sakkath Ultimate Open 2023. Six players from Y-Ultimate have been selected to represent India at the World Ultimate Championships in Australia, with fundraising efforts supporting their participation.
SC Bacaim Foundation

SC Bacaim Foundation

The Sporting Club Bacaim (SCB) Foundation, established in 2021 by Cedric Williams, aims to empower underprivileged girls through football. Focused on developing female players from Mumbai, Thane, Navi Mumbai, and Palghar, the foundation offers free training, travel allowances, and financial support. SC Bacaim's women's football team was formed in 2021 and quickly became champions in the Women's Super League, now playing in Division 3 of the MFA Women’s Premier League. The foundation’s long-term goal is to ensure no talented female footballer is deprived of coaching due to the lack of resources, with plans to establish a nationwide residential scholarship program.
Guru Premnath Akhada

Guru Premnath Akhada

Guru Premnath Akhada, founded in 1976 by Prem Nath (Arjuna Awardee and Commonwealth Games gold medalist), focuses on training young female wrestlers. Now led by Vikram Kumar, the Akhada trains over 50 female wrestlers for free, offering a platform for gender equality in wrestling. Despite being traditionally male-dominated, the Akhada began training women in 2004, empowering girls from small towns to pursue professional wrestling and coaching careers. Notable wrestlers like Divya Kakran and Shivani Pawar trained here, achieving success at the Commonwealth Games and international competitions. The Akhada continues to face challenges, including limited female coaches and societal pressures but remains dedicated to producing Olympic champions.
